Navy diver attacked by shark returns to face his greatest fear | 60 Minutes Australia
May 26 2023
Meet: Paul De Gelder. He's a man in a million. When you see what he's been through, I'm sure you too will marvel at his strength, his sheer lust for life. Paul was the navy diver attacked by a shark right in the middle of Sydney harbour. The shark took one of his hands and a leg, and came within a centimetre of killing him. But it didn't take his spirit.
For over forty years, 60 Minutes have been telling Australians the worldโs greatest stories. Tales that changed history, our nation and our lives. Reporters Liz Hayes, Tom Steinfort, Tara Brown, Nick McKenzie and Amelia Adams look past the headlines because there is always a bigger picture. Sundays are for 60 Minutes.
