"My mother always emphasized the importance of writing thank you notes, so I made sure to write one to him, expressing my gratitude for selecting me as the winner of the show. When I returned to Los Angeles and saw him again, he was surprised because no Playmate had ever done that before," she explained. Following her appearance on "Girl Next Door," Anderson made the decision to leave college and relocate to Los Angeles in order to pursue a career with Playboy. She took on various jobs such as hosting parties and benefits, as well as conducting tours of the Playboy Mansion, which she described as having luxurious amenities. "One of the most extravagant perks was the ability to order food 24 hours a day. They would prepare whatever you desired," she fondly recalled.

"If I have anything to say, any kind of voice on any topic, whether it's politics or anything else, that's the first thing people attack me for," she expressed. "They label me as slutty, a whore, stupid, or a bimbo." "The way society treats us is the most difficult aspect of being associated with Playboy for me," she added. She decided to stop working for Playboy after giving birth to her first child, who is now 11 years old. Although she hasn't yet discussed her previous career with her oldest son, he accidentally saw one of her photos while she was autographing it for a fan. "I wasn't actually naked in the photo, I was covering myself," she clarified. "But when he saw it, he had this disgusted and confused expression on his face and asked, 'Mom! Why are you only wearing one earring?'"

Anderson proudly lists her occupation as "former Playboy Playmate" on her social media profiles.

One of the topics covered in the docuseries is the issue of women associated with Playboy finding their pictures on pornographic websites, which has also happened to Anderson. However, she remains unfazed by this situation, stating that it doesn't bother her excessively. Anderson clarifies that she never engaged in any explicit content or had any sexual encounters on film, so the images merely display her nude body, something she has already done. Proudly identifying herself as a former Playboy Playmate on her social media profiles, Anderson reveals that the most difficult aspect of her previous job is the derogatory labels strangers use to describe her, such as "whore" and "bimbo."

Anderson appears in the first episode of the A&E docuseries "Secrets of Playboy."

The woman met her husband, Reid Brignac, a former MLB player, at a Playboy party. They now have two sons, aged 11 and 6. She clarified that the party was not filled with older men, but rather many young Hollywood celebrities were in attendance. She mentioned meeting basketball legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, whom she described as the biggest person she had ever seen.

The mother of two encountered her spouse, a previous professional baseball player, at a gathering hosted by Playboy.

Former Playboy Playmate Lauren Anderson had a frightening experience during her first nude photoshoot for the brand. She revealed that she actually blacked out during the shoot because she hadn't eaten anything and wanted to appear skinny. Luckily, the makeup team was there to catch her before she fainted. Anderson's dizzying experience occurred during the filming of the reality show "Girl Next Door: The Search for a Playboy Centerfold," where she competed with 11 other women for the title of Playmate of the Month. The show required the final six contestants to pose naked, leading to the scary moment. Despite the ordeal, Anderson ultimately won the competition and graced the cover of Playboy's July 2002 issue, earning $25,000. Now 43 years old, Anderson is featured on the A&E docuseries "Secrets of Playboy," which premieres its Season 2 on Monday. Her journey with Playboy began when she auditioned for her first gig with the magazine while she was a senior at the University of Florida, posing topless for the 2001 "Girls of the SEC" issue.

Anderson won first place out of the 12 girls competing in Playboy's reality show "Girl Next Door: The Search for a Playboy Centerfold."

"I was aware of my insecurity and how I felt at that time, and that wasn't my true self, being sexy and wearing revealing clothes," she said. "It now makes me cringe," she admitted. "But I wouldn't change anything because it shaped me into the confident person I am today. I now embrace my body and all its imperfections, whereas before I used to hide it." Hugh Hefner, the founder of Playboy, acknowledged that she stood out from all the other Playmates.

At the age of 21, the woman from Milwaukee bared her upper body for Playboy's Girls of the SEC edition.

"I initially went as a joke just to see what it was all about, and even though I stated that I wouldn't do fully nude, they still chose me," said Anderson, who was employed by Playboy until 2012. In the docuseries, Anderson, who used to consider herself "shy" and "not a party girl," is shown watching a segment of "Girl Next Door" where she is posing on all fours - a moment she now finds cringeworthy.

Anderson landed her initial opportunity with Playboy while she was completing her final year at the University of Florida.
