The Naked Neighbor: Unintentionally Provided a Free Show for Years
A woman has shocked social media users by revealing that she is the "naked neighbour" who has unknowingly been providing a spectacle for her street for years. Meg Neil, known online as @themegneil, posted a video explaining that she had become the subject of gossip among her neighbours after realizing they had been able to see her naked for over a year and a half. Living in Atlanta, Georgia, she had believed that a tree outside her window provided enough coverage to leave her blinds open. However, it turns out that the view was only blocked from her perspective, not from anyone looking in.
In the caption of the clip, which has gained more than 500 likes, she said: "When you find out that you’re the naked neighbour…”
As she filmed herself standing in a towel, she explained: "I've been living at my current apartment for about a year and a half now and I come out like this all the time, in all of my glory.
"Sometimes less than this when I come out of said shower and I was just informed that you can definitely see right in here.
"So I've been giving my neighbours a free show for a year and a half. I'm the naked neighbour."
Meg revealed to the New York Post that she became aware of her mistake when her neighbor informed her about it.
According to her, "He had a clear view into my apartment at night. He genuinely believed that I was aware of it and didn't mind."
