How internet famous Caroline Calloway dodged being cancelled | 60 Minutes Australia
Jul 16 2023
How’s this for cheek? Caroline Calloway has become a worldwide internet sensation by being honest about being dishonest. This 31-year-old woman is a brazen, and as Tom Steinfort discovers, quite beguiling fraudster, who has decided to make crime pay by fessing up to it.
In her scamming career, Calloway first made her name by lying her way into Cambridge University. Since then she has graduated to even more audacious rip-offs, conning and stealing from a multitude of unsuspecting victims. It’s a sobering indictment, but like it or not, Caroline’s proving that once you’ve had one scandal, you might as well have a thousand.
For over forty years, 60 Minutes have been telling Australians the world’s greatest stories. Tales that changed history, our nation and our lives. Reporters Liz Hayes, Tom Steinfort, Tara Brown, Nick McKenzie and Amelia Adams look past the headlines because there is always a bigger picture. Sundays are for 60 Minutes.
