REWIND BACK TO 2009 when hundreds of thousands of Jewish settlers moved into the West Bank and built new towns on Palestinian land. The West Bank is one of the most disputed pieces of land on the planet and has had a long history of conflict in the region. There, Palestinians want to establish a new state but Israelis are assuming ownership over the territory, which is a breach of international law. Tensions are rising between the two groups, leaving residents to violently take matters into their own hands.
In 2023, the divide between Israel and Palestine continues with no hope of resolving the decades long conflict.
