Ford Bronco DR: 400bhp, $295k Ultimate Off-Roader

The Ford Bronco DR is a unique, limited production off-road racer, specifically designed for the Baja 1000 race. This isn't just a regular Bronco with a few aesthetic tweaks. The DR, standing for Desert Racer, is equipped with a full Multimatic FEA-optimised roll cage with integrated tubes and fibreglass body panels. It doesn't have any interior amenities like air conditioning or glass, but it does boast a 5.0-litre Ford Coyote V8 engine that delivers over 400bhp.
We had the opportunity to test this competition-ready off-road racer and see how it performs. The chapters of our experience include an introduction, a test of its straight-line speed, a walkaround, a whoops section, rock crawling, jumping, a silt shower, and finally, our conclusion.
