The coronial inquest into the disappearance of Iveta Mitchell, a Perth woman who went missing in May 2010, concluded in June 2023. The inquest found that Mitchell was a victim of homicide shortly after her disappearance. Despite her body never being found, the Western Australia Police maintain a reasonable suspicion that her husband, Chad, was involved in some way. However, they have not pursued a case against him or any other individual.
The mystery surrounding Mitchell's disappearance continues to baffle investigators. The 38-year-old mother vanished from her family home following a heated argument with her husband. Since then, there has been no trace of her. The police suspect foul play in her disappearance. Chad, her husband, has described himself as the prime suspect in the case.
