The Traitors Season 2 Interview: Deontay Wilder, Kevin Kreider, and John Bercow The Traitors series delves into the world of mind games, plotting, and deceit. However, for the Faithful players, there is an added layer of paranoia and sadness. They constantly worry about being murdered by the Traitors or having to send another Faithful home. To succeed in the game, players must possess sharp instincts, keen observation skills, and the ability to discern whether their instincts are accurate or biased. Given the social and psychological nature of the game, a clear mind and a well-thought-out strategy are crucial. Strategy and awareness are essential in various fields, including fighting, acting, and politics. Fighters train and spar to hone their skills and devise strategies to outmaneuver their opponents. Actors must understand their characters' goals and strategize how to portray them emotionally. Politicians, on the other hand, must be strategic in their every move, as their words carry significant weight. They must also possess a basic understanding of human psychology to connect with their constituents. Similarly, fighters must be able to read their opponents' body language to anticipate their moves. One might assume that individuals like former heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder, former UK Parliamentarian John Bercow, and actor/reality TV star Kevin Kreider would be formidable competitors in The Traitors. However, the game becomes a battle between the id, ego, and super-ego for the Faithfuls. These Freudian terms represent different aspects of a person's personality: the id is instinctual, the ego helps navigate the world, and the super-ego represents morality. Cut off from the outside world, including phones and social media, these three aspects of each player's personality clash within the vacuum of The Traitors. Trusting one's instincts becomes challenging, especially when they prove to be incorrect. Is ruthlessness the only path to victory, or can sincerity prevail? Collider had the opportunity to interview Deontay, John, and Kevin before and after their experience in the game. While they had their own expectations, they gained much more than they anticipated.
