Twitch streamer and content creator Wilbur Soot has issued a response following allegations of abuse made by an ex-girlfriend during a recent Twitch stream. On February 24, Shubble, Wilbur's former partner, shared details about her past relationship, describing how her ex-boyfriend would bite her, leaving bruises and even poking them for amusement despite her objections.
She mentioned that he would joke about the bruises resembling signs of abuse and eventually shifted to biting her legs instead of her arms. Shubble admitted that it took her some time to realize the extent of the abuse she had experienced.

While Wilbur was not explicitly mentioned, many fans were aware of his relationship with the streamer and noted that he had a reputation for being a "biter," as they had seen him bite others in the past and heard other streamers mention it as well.
On February 27, a few days later, the streamer addressed the situation as his name was frequently brought up in connection with the story. He stated:

I took time to carefully consider and respond to this situation with respect and a desire to gain a deeper understanding.
"In the final months of our relationship, I behaved in a careless, disrespectful, and selfish manner. My actions caused pain to my ex-girlfriend, and I have since sought therapy to address these behaviors and have made significant changes in my life to make amends. I now realize the impact of my past actions on this person, and I believe I have made progress in becoming a better person. I hope to continue growing and improving."

"I believe that our private messages reflect a mutual affection and understanding. I choose not to share them out of respect for her, and I want to make it clear that my perspective is not meant to diminish or invalidate anyone's feelings. I share it in the hope of providing a genuine and relevant insight into how I perceived the situation.

In response to Wilbur's statement, Shubble took to Twitter to thank her friends for their support and announced that she would be taking a break from social media. She expressed her gratitude for the overwhelming support she received and mentioned that she was brought to tears by it.
