After spending time in prison for two separate charges of shoplifting and disorderly conduct, tattooed adult star Abbie Newman, 28, found herself unexpectedly becoming a viral sensation. Upon her release, she discovered that her mugshot had spread across social media, leading to a surge in followers and a booming OnlyFans career.

Abbie, who had no idea about her newfound fame while incarcerated, now reflects on being "tagged everywhere" and the sudden increase in popularity and income.

In an interview with the Daily Mail, Abbie shared that she was unaware of her viral fame until after she was released from jail and saw her social media accounts gaining followers and being tagged with her mugshot. She admitted that the situation turned out for the best.

Abbie capitalized on her newfound fame by creating an OnlyFans account, where she has revealed the substantial amount of money she is earning. She mentioned that being in prison actually "saved my life" as it resulted in a significant financial boost afterwards. Prior to her arrest, she was feeling depressed and had not logged on to OnlyFans for a while. However, after getting out of jail, she made $24,000 in a week from customers adding her Snapchat, Twitter, and OnlyFans accounts.

"I was going through a difficult time. After experiencing a miscarriage, I was struggling and not in a good place mentally. Going to jail ended up being a turning point for me. It not only helped me financially, but it also saved my life in a way.

"I am a recovering heroin addict, six years sober. After the miscarriage, I was spiraling into depression due to my BPD and PTSD. I wasn't taking my medication, so I wasn't myself.

"Despite my arrest and the attention it brought, it ultimately helped me get my life back on track. Following another arrest for fighting in public and shoplifting over Thanksgiving, I was able to start fresh and make positive changes in my life."

Abbie shared, "Going viral not only helped me pay off my debts and live more comfortably, but it also allowed me to rediscover myself. I feel very fortunate that it happened. Many people don't get second chances, and I've had about ten chances already, so it's truly a blessing how everything unfolded.

"I spent Thanksgiving in jail and was there for a total of four days. Fortunately, I only received probation for the charges, which weren't very serious. It's all just so surreal to me."
