Damsel Director Confirms Sword in the Stone Remake Cancellation

Director Juan Carlos Fresnadillo confirmed in an interview with Collider that the live-action Sword in the Stone remake by Disney has been cancelled. He also discussed his dark fantasy film, Damsel, starring Millie Bobby Brown, which takes a twisted approach to conventional fairy tales by following Princess Elodie in a terrifying nightmare within her royal marriage. Fresnadillo also talked about working with Hollywood icons in the film.
