Rachel Zegler Talks About Y2K: A Unique Coming-of-Age Movie Unlike Any Other
Mar 18 2024
Rachel Zegler, Jaeden Martell, Julian Dennison, Mason Gooding, Lachlan Watson, and Daniel Zolghadri discuss their experience working on the coming-of-age movie Y2K. Directed by Mooney, the film follows two "loser dudes" who attend a New Year's Eve party that takes a chaotic turn at midnight. With a star-studded cast including Alicia Silverstone and Eduardo Franco, Y2K promises a unique twist on the typical teen movie. Zegler, known for her work with Steven Spielberg, was drawn to the project for its unexpected storyline and fresh approach. Martell leads as the shy Eli, with Dennison as his best friend Danny, in a story of friendship, romance, and survival as the clock strikes midnight.
