At SXSW 2024, Mason Gooding, Lachlan Watson, and Daniel Zolghadri discuss Kyle Mooney’s directorial debut Y2K. The film follows Jaeden Martell as Eli, a shy high school student determined to change his fate by attending a New Year's Eve party with his best friend Danny. Chaos erupts at midnight, forcing the party-goers to come together to survive the new millennium. Y2K also stars Alicia Silverstone, Eduardo Franco, and Tim Heidecker.
