Saint Mary MacKillop saves little girl's life after two car accidents

When Sophie Delezio was involved in two devastating car accidents, her parents turned to Saint Mary MacKillop for help. In 2010, Australia celebrated the canonisation of Sister Mary MacKillop, and among the witnesses was a little girl who credits the saint with saving her life. Sophie lost both feet and suffered severe burns in a car crash at the age of two, and then was hit by another car two-and-a-half years later. Throughout these difficult times, Sophie's parents prayed to Saint Mary MacKillop, believing that she intervened to save their daughter's life not once, but twice.
