Andy Cohen has been cleared in an investigation into misconduct claims from former âReal Housewivesâ stars as the Bravo hostâs late-night talk show, âWhat What Happens Live,â is renewed.
âThe outside investigation into the recent allegations made by Brandi Glanville and Leah McSweeney against Andy Cohen has now been completed, and the claims were found to be unsubstantiated,â a Bravo spokesperson tells GentNews.
In March, âReal Housewives of New York Cityâ alum McSweeney, 41, filed a lengthy lawsuit that leveled a host of sordid of accusations against Cohen and Bravoâs tentpole franchise.
In addition to accusing Cohen of offering cocaine to certain talent and handing out special professional favors to them, McSweeney claimed that Cohen and Bravo preyed on her alcohol issues in an attempt to generate favorable ratings and even facilitated a work environment that turned a blind eye to sexually predatory behavior.
Cohen has categorically denied the allegations, with a rep for the TV personality previously telling GentNews, âThe claims against Andy are completely false.â
One month prior, Glanville, 51, accused Cohen of sexual harassment, claiming that he invited her to watch him and âBelow Deckâ alum Kate Chastain have sex â which the former âReal Housewives of Beverly Hillsâ star called an âextraordinary abuse of power.â
Cohen brushed this off via X, but publicly apologized for making an âinappropriateâ joke during a 2022 phone exchange involving the trio.
In the wake of both womenâs claims, a myriad of âHousewivesâ spoke out in defense of Cohen.
âThroughout my 14 years of working with Andy, I have witnessed nothing but respect, kindness and support. I have never been offered any type of drug by him ever,â âReal Housewives of New Jerseyâ star Melissa Gorga told GentNews in March.
Meanwhile, âReal Housewives of Orange Countyâ veteran Heather Dubrow told us that she was disappointed by McSweeneyâs claims, which she hoped wouldnât ruin the âfun experienceâ of being a Bravolebrity â which includes frequent appearances on âWhat What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.â
âIâve been on âWatch What Happens Liveâ a million times. I have never seen drugs, heard about drugs, nothing ever. And Iâm a kid from the â80s, OK?â she said in February.
âI have never seen any of that. âWatch What Happens Liveâ is such a fun experience. Yeah, we have a cocktail on the show. Itâs fun, but thereâs a drinking game always with a disclaimer: donât drink and drive. Itâs a fun experience. Itâs sad itâs being brought down to this level. My experience has been nothing but positive.â
âWatch What Happens Live with Andy Cohenâ was one of many Bravo shows renewed, including âMarried to Medicine,â âTop Chef,â âSouthern Charm,â âSouthern Hospitality,â âBelow Deck,â âRHONY,â âRHOBH,â âThe Real Housewives of Atlanta,â âThe Real Housewives of Orange County,â âThe Real Housewives of Miami,â âThe Real Housewives of Potomacâ and âThe Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.â
The network also announced two new series.
âMaking it in Manhattan,â a working title, follows âa tight-knit group of friends in New York City as they navigate the trials and triumphs of young adulthood,â according to its longline.
Meanwhile, âOn Safariâ â a working title as well â âis set in the heart of the South African Bush and explores the spectacular world of the most luxurious safari experiences, and the international group of guides who create once-in-a-lifetime moments for their adventure seeking clientele.â
