Kristin Cavallari recently shared intimate details about her past struggles with weight and emotional well-being during her marriage to former NFL star Jay Cutler. The reality TV personality opened up on her podcast, "Let's Be Honest," revealing how her weight dropped to a concerning 102 pounds during a period of stress and unhappiness.
Addressing a fan question about her appearance during the filming of "Very Cavallari," which aired from 2018 to 2020, Cavallari disclosed, "I was very thin. I'll put it in perspective for you guys. I'm 5'3". I currently weigh 114 pounds. Filming 'Very Cavallari,' I got down to 102, and I was eating the same amount of food that I'm eating now."
Reflecting on that challenging time, Cavallari attributed her drastic weight loss to the stress and unhappiness she experienced in her marriage. She admitted, "The difference was I was so unhappy and so stressed out. I look back at photos from that time period and I am like, 'Holy s--t!' I was rail f--king thin. I was skin and bones. I looked like s--t."
The former "Laguna Beach" star, now 37, and Cutler, 41, announced their divorce in 2020 after a decade together. In a joint statement, they expressed mutual respect and love for each other, acknowledging their shared memories and the children they are proud of.
Following their split, Cavallari accused Cutler of "inappropriate marital conduct." The ex-couple, parents to sons Camden and Jaxon and daughter Saylor, finalized their divorce in 2022.
Despite the challenges she faced, Cavallari has found happiness anew with boyfriend Mark Estes. The couple went public with their relationship in February, with Cavallari sharing that Estes brings joy into her life.
In a recent podcast episode, Cavallari revealed that she and Estes have discussed the possibility of having children together. She expressed, "If he ends up really being 'The One,' I would have a kid. It's become pretty serious, this relationship, I would say."
Through her candid revelations, Kristin Cavallari sheds light on the profound impact of emotional well-being on physical health, emphasizing the importance of prioritizing happiness and self-care in relationships.
