Former high school Valedictorian and UMass Information Technology student, Joel Ortiz, was apprehended at LAX for pilfering $7.5 million through SIM swapping. REACT, a cybercrime unit, traced his extravagant expenditures and ostentatious displays of wealth on social media, ultimately leading to his arrest.
