In this episode of Minutes With, we speak with Innocent Opwonya, a former child soldier from Uganda who was abducted at 10 and compelled to join Joseph Kony's Lord's Resistance Army. He recounts his traumatic ordeal of abduction, brainwashing, and cruel treatment by the soldiers. Having escaped and resettled in Germany, Innocent now dedicates himself to assisting youth from Northern Uganda and manages a local football club in Hulu known as the Blue Zone.
