In the long-awaited sequel to Beetlejuice, Jenna Ortega and Catherine O'Hara discuss their on-screen chemistry and family dynamic. Ortega plays Astrid, the daughter of Lydia and granddaughter of Delia Deetz, in this new generation introduction to the madness of the Afterlife. The film explores generational trauma as the family returns to their old stomping grounds after a death in the family, accidentally opening the portal once again. Ortega also talks about her dance number in the sequel and the pressures of carrying on the Tim Burton legacy.
