Christoph Waltz Discusses Luc Besson’s Dracula: A Love Story and Guillermo del Toro's Frankenstein
Sep 04 2024
Imagine if the director of Leon: The Professional and The Fifth Element, Luc Besson, and two-time Academy Award-winner Christoph Waltz collaborated to adapt a beloved horror novel. Starring Caleb Landry Jones, Besson's upcoming film, Dracula: A Love Tale, reimagines Bram Stoker's classic as a tragic love story. Waltz plays a vampire-hunting priest in pursuit of the fabled Count. On a set visit near Paris, Collider's Steve Weintraub sat down with Waltz to discuss his excitement for the project, the modern retelling of the story, working with the cast, his on-set approach, preparation for roles, and more.
