Emmy winner Edie Falco confirms she will be returning as Carmela Soprano in The Many Saints of Newark, but her scenes were ultimately cut from the film. Originally set to begin with Carmela in present day discussing her family's immigration from Italy, David Chase informed her that her part would not be included in the final cut.
