Woman Claims Diddy Shot Her in the Face: Celebrates His Arrest

Sep 18 2024

A woman who has long maintained that Sean "Diddy" Combs shot her in the face during his notorious 1999 club outing with Jennifer Lopez is now celebrating his recent arrest.

Natania Reuben, the woman in question, shared in a recent interview that her daughter informed her of Combs' detention by federal agents and the charges he faces, including sex trafficking by force, racketeering conspiracy, and transportation to engage in prostitution.

Reuben expressed her initial shock and then gratitude upon learning about Combs' arrest, exclaiming, "Thank you, merciful father!"

In December 1999, Reuben found herself at a Manhattan nightclub where Combs, accompanied by Jennifer Lopez, his bodyguard Anthony "Wolf" Jones, and rapper Jamal "Shyne" Barrow, engaged in a verbal altercation that escalated into gunfire.

Reuben, caught in the crossfire, alleges that she witnessed Combs shooting her in the face during the chaotic incident.

Despite the traumatic experience of being hit in the face by a 9mm hollow-point bullet, Reuben's resolve remained strong as she fought for her life, thinking of her young children at the time.

Following the nightclub shooting, Combs and his companions were apprehended by law enforcement, with a stolen and loaded 9mm semiautomatic gun discovered in their possession. While Combs faced trial, Reuben testified against him, claiming he was the one who shot her.

Although Combs was acquitted during the trial, he later settled civil suits with Reuben and other victims of the shooting. Reuben received a settlement of $1.8 million, but the emotional scars of the incident remained.

While Reuben always maintained Combs' culpability, Barrow, one of Combs' associates, was found guilty and served time in prison before being deported to Belize.

As Combs faces his current legal challenges, Reuben finds solace in his arrest, believing that justice is finally being served. She reflects on the impact Combs' conviction in the 1999 shooting could have had on preventing further harm.

Combs has pleaded not guilty to the recent charges against him, including sex trafficking and racketeering. Despite facing multiple lawsuits alleging various crimes, he maintains his innocence.

Reuben's story serves as a reminder of the enduring impact of past traumas and the pursuit of accountability. Her journey from surviving a harrowing incident to witnessing the legal repercussions against her alleged assailant showcases the complexities of seeking justice.

As the legal proceedings unfold, Reuben's resilience and unwavering pursuit of truth stand as a testament to the strength of survivors and the pursuit of justice.
