Viral Georgia sorority girl Lily Stewart smiles in new mugshot after second arrest in weeks.
Here we go again!
Lily Stewart, the Georgia sorority sister who became an internet sensation thanks to her stunning mugshot, is back in the spotlight after being arrested for the second time in just a few weeks. This time, she was booked on two new charges, according to official records.
The 20-year-old University of Georgia student, who is part of the Alpha Chi sorority, was taken into custody early Sunday morning. This arrest comes just two weeks after her initial run-in with the law, which involved a speeding charge that was ultimately dismissed.

On this occasion, Stewart faced fresh charges of obstruction of a law enforcement officer and loitering/prowling after campus police apprehended her around 5:30 a.m. The details surrounding her latest arrest remain unclear, but both charges are classified as misdemeanors.
In her Sunday morning booking photo, Stewart was seen flashing a smile while dressed in prison attire, a sight that has become somewhat of a trademark for her. The images were first reported by TMZ, which has been closely following her story.

After spending a brief time in detention, Stewart was released later that morning after posting a bond exceeding $4,000, as indicated by jail records.
Her attorney, Stephen Morris, chose not to comment on the new charges when reached for an email statement, but he did confirm that the speeding charge from March 8 has been officially dismissed.
Stewart's first mugshot went viral last week, capturing the attention of social media users everywhere. Embracing her newfound fame, she took to TikTok to share some of her favorite comments about her situation, which ranged from humorous to downright cheeky.
“I think it’s hilarious. I don’t know what all the hype is about. I just took a mugshot and went on with my day,” she remarked in an interview last week.

She also expressed her amusement at the playful jabs from commenters, with some quipping, “She was on her way to Lululemon” or “She must have had to [pee] really bad.”
Interestingly, Stewart's polished mugshot can be attributed to her having her hair and makeup done for a birthday party she was rushing to attend when she was pulled over by a Georgia State Patrol officer.
“I was going to a friend’s birthday in Milledgeville, [Ga.] — and I had just gotten ready not long before, so that’s maybe why my makeup and hair still looked good,” she explained, shedding light on the circumstances that led to her first arrest.
As the story continues to unfold, it remains to be seen how Stewart will navigate the legal challenges ahead while maintaining her social media presence and the attention that comes with it.
