Alex Fine Speaks Out Against Domestic Violence: "Men Who Hit Women Aren't Men"
May 18 2024

Alex Fine, husband of Cassie Ventura, is taking a stand against abusers following a troubling video showing Sean "Diddy" Combs assaulting the singer in a Los Angeles hotel in 2016.

Fine, who tied the knot with Ventura in September 2019, recently shared a heartfelt message on his Instagram addressing the issue of violence against women.

"Men who hit women aren't men. Men who enable it and protect those people aren't men," Fine stated, emphasizing that violence against women should never be tolerated.

He urged men to hold each other accountable and ensure the safety and well-being of the women in their lives. "Our daughters, sisters, mothers, and wives deserve to feel protected and loved," Fine expressed.

Addressing survivors of domestic violence, Fine offered words of support and encouragement. "Your stories are real, and there are people who believe you. You are not alone, and there are individuals who care deeply about your well-being," he affirmed.

Expressing his desire for a safer world for women and children, Fine apologized for the lack of protection and equality many face. "I want to raise my daughters in a world where they are safe and loved," he added.

In a direct message to abusers, Fine made it clear that their actions would no longer be tolerated. "You're done, you're not safe anymore, you're not protected anymore," he declared, condemning their behavior.

While Fine did not mention Combs by name, his statement coincided with the surfacing of a video showing the rapper assaulting Ventura in a hotel hallway in 2016.

The footage depicted Combs physically attacking Ventura, supporting her previous claims of abuse in a lawsuit filed in 2023. Ventura and Combs reached a settlement following the lawsuit.
