Grey’s anatomy is an unquestionable staple for more than half of the world. It follows surgical interns and their supervisors embarking on a medical journey where they become part of gut-wrenching stories and make life-changing decisions in order to become the finest doctors. You probably know this already but we couldn’t just call it a medical drama when it’s so much more than that.
Following our fan favorites like Dr. Cristina, Alex Karev and Dr. April Kepner who had to leave the series, we’re wondering what happens next. Most of the stars on this list have seen some rough times after their departure and we’re beginning to align the dots. Is it a curse? Is it just bad luck? No doubt they’ve all moved on as much as they can in other small roles but it’s obvious that the Grey’s Anatomy stage was the best place for them.
