Fidel Castro's daughter Alina Fernández is standing by the casting of James Franco as her late father in the upcoming film "Alina of Cuba." Alina told Deadline, "James Franco has an obvious physical resemblance with Fidel Castro, besides his skills and charisma." She also told the outlet that she's proud that "the project is almost entirely Latino, both in front and behind the camera," adding, "I find the selection of the cast amazing." Her comments supporting James' casting come amid criticism of the decision from many, including John Leguizamo.
