Buckingham Palace did not edit Meghan Markle out of Prince Harry's 40th birthday tribute. The Duke of Sussex received birthday wishes from his family members despite ongoing tensions within the royal family. King Charles and Queen Camilla's official Instagram page shared a photo of Harry from a 2018 trip to Ireland, where he and Meghan visited DogPatch Labs. Although Meghan was originally in the photo, she was not visible in the royal family's tribute. The palace clarified that the image was shared in its original form without any cropping. Photo agencies have two versions of the image available - one with Meghan and one featuring Harry alone. This marks the first public acknowledgment of Harry's birthday by the royal family since 2021.
