The Man Behind Nature’s Driftwood Creatures
Jan 11 2019
What started out as a date idea turned into his full-on passion. Alex Witcombe from Vancouver Island crafts driftwood creatures from wood he finds on the beach, adding just screws and nails. His work varies from wildlife to people -- even Sasquatch and aliens. After joining hundreds of wooden pieces together to make something new, he places his art back on the beach and other places in nature for all to enjoy.
