Drake Curse, 2Pac's 'Hit 'Em Up,' Jim Jones ‘El Capo,' Lil Bibby on the Clock? | Everyday Struggle
Jun 06 2019
On Thursday’s episode of #EverydayStruggle, Nadeska, Wayno and DJ Akademiks open up the show discussing the myth behind the ‘Drake Curse’ and whether or not it’s a real thing. Ak and Wayno then share their thoughts on Jim Jones’ latest LP ‘El Capo’ and name their favorite songs off the project. Halfway through the show, the EDS crew goes down memory lane in the TBT segment, ‘This Week in Hip-Hop.’ The trio reminisce on the impact Wu-Tang Clan’s ‘Wu-Tang Forever’ album had on the culture in 1997, and also discuss the anniversary of 2Pac’s ‘Hit ‘Em Up’ diss record, which dropped in 1996. Later in the show, the squad puts Lil Bibby ‘On The Clock’ and discuss the Chicago rapper’s mogul moves since signing Juice WRLD to his label, and to conclude today’s episode the gang runs through a few news stories involving Valee, Rihanna and Lil Uzi Vert's 'Eternal Atake.'
