3,200 Tiny Painted Helmets For Soft Baby Skulls
Oct 07 2019
Paula Strawn from Kennewick, Washington hand-paints tiny helmets. The medical devices are required to reshape the skulls of babies with flat-head syndrome while they’re still soft. Painting 6 days a week upwards of 12 hours a day, Strawn’s artwork shifts the focus from an infant’s health to the joy of a personalized accessory. In 15 years, Strawn has brought smiles to 3,200 babies and parents.
