On Monday’s (Oct. 14) episode of #EverydayStruggle, Nadeska, Wayno and DJ Akademiks start off the show answering a fan question about last week’s episode with Casanova. Soon after, the EDS crew weighs in on the controversy surrounding Rolling Loud New York this past weekend that saw the removal of Casanova, Pop Smoke, Sheff G, 22GZ and Don Q off of the festival’s lineup due to the NYPD. Afterwards, the EDS trio share their thoughts on T.I.’s recent comments regarding the signing of Iggy Azalea to his Grand Hustle imprint in 2012. Later in the show, the EDS crew opens up their ‘Big Facts or B.S.???’ segment with a tweet from Polo G, speaking on the new generation of gangsters, Danny Brown’s comments on new artists becoming felons so young and Punch’s (TDE President) tweet about artists creating false narratives and stats to say they have a No. 1 record. To close out the show, the EDS crew comment on Pitchfork’s ‘200 Best Songs of the Decade’ list, and weigh in on ScHoolboy Q’s hilarious tweet, poking fun at the ‘Top 50 Rappers’ list trend.
