The Rescue Dog Pageant Benefiting Homeless Dogs
Dec 17 2019
At the Missouri Lounge's annual Rescue Dog Pageant in Berkeley, California, humans showcase their dogs' talents to a voting jury of their peers. To a “walk out song” of their choosing, dogs spin, strut, and bark in costume for the chance to win 1st Place. Though the fundraiser is designed to celebrate dogs vanity, all proceeds benefit the Berkeley Humane Society -- a nonprofit providing rehabilitation and placement for homeless animals.
