Bachelor Nation's Jade Roper Wins $1M Playing Fantasy Football, But Not Without Controversy
Jan 07 2020
"Bachelor in Paradise" star Jade Roper just scored a huge payday playing fantasy football, but her win has caused a bit of controversy. The mom of two came out on top in DraftKings' Millionaire Maker daily fantasy game during Sunday's NFL playoffs, taking home $1 million. "Doesn't even feel real over here! Officially speechless," she gushed on Twitter after a "Bachelor" fan's boyfriend spotted her in the No. 1 spot. While Jade received lots of congratulations online, many social media users speculated that she and husband Tanner Tolbert had colluded on their respective submissions to the contest, which is against DraftKings rules. Tanner denied any wrongdoing in an interview with ESPN and said that he and Jade filled out their lineups separately. DraftKings tells Access Hollywood that the company is "looking into the matter" and "take the integrity and fairness of [their] contests very seriously."
