A Day In The Life Of 3 Key Workers | British Vogue
Jun 01 2020
Fittingly in a year unlike any other, the cover of British Vogue’s July 2020 issue is different. Its stars, midwife Rachel Millar, London Overground driver Narguis Horsford, and supermarket assistant Anisa Omar, represent the thousands of inspirational key workers that have kept Britain running in the shadow of a health crisis that has changed our way of life beyond all recognition, and who are celebrated in the pages of the magazine. As Britons were instructed to stay at home to lessen their risk of contracting Covid-19, these three women, and many others like them, put themselves in the way of a potentially deadly virus in order to ensure that food was on shelves, that essential workers had access to public transport, and that babies were delivered safely.
