When was the last time you wrote a note to someone special? Not an email, not a WhatsApp, but a real, honest-to-goodness, pen-to-paper note? It’s what Khloe Bailey Obazee, the founder of digital storytelling platform Prim, asked the members of its QPOC book club to do when they were separated by the Covid-19 lockdown. The resulting book, Love Notes From Quarantine, is made up of sweet missives written by members of the African, Caribbean, Afro-Latinx, Black, queer, trans and non-binary community. Three writers read their words aloud for the fourth instalment in British Vogue’s A Celebration of #Pride series, which honours connection in all its forms.
