This Is What Dua Lipa, Kendrick Sampson & Captain Sir Thomas Moore Are Hopeful For | British Vogue
Aug 10 2020
“Hope abounds,” Edward Enninful writes in his editor’s letter introducing the September 2020 issue of British Vogue, which spotlights incredible activists – from Marcus Rashford to Patrisse Cullors to Angela Davis to Alice Wong – and their world-changing work. Some of those inspiring leaders join the likes of Billy Porter, Yara Shahidi, Kendrick Sampson and Captain Sir Thomas Moore in this uplifting short film, to share the reasons why, in a year that has brought so much darkness, they remain hopeful for a better future. Narrated by spoken word poet Kai-Isaiah Jamal, the video serves as a welcome celebration of our capacity for joy, connection and above all, hope.
