The Untold Truth Of 50 Cent's Girlfriend
Aug 11 2020
Once upon a time, people knew rapper 50 Cent to be a hardened, Queens gangster and the leader of the hip-hop group G-Unit. But for the most part, the wild and crazy era of the Unit is firmly rooted in the early to mid-2000s. These days, the New York native has managed to transition into something of an industry mogul…in a whole bunch of industries.

In 2014, the "Many Men" rapper produced one of the Starz network's most talked-about crime dramas: Power. According to Variety, the fifth season of the award-winning show was drawing over 10 million fans to tune in for each episode. The show wrapped after Season 6 — and is expected to see a few spin-offs — but it seems that whether it's in the music industry or the entertainment industry, 50 Cent is a hit maker. Starz' president of programming even noted,

"He's a person who is driven to success in whatever he does."

But when he's not making game-changing TV, there's a good chance 50 is spending time with his girlfriend Jamira Haines — a.k.a Cuban Link. While it's unclear when the two made things official, People magazine reported,

"They stepped out for the first time publicly at the Season 6 premiere of [50 Cent's] Power."

At the time, back in August 2019, Haines was 24 to 50's 44 years — but despite the age difference, the two seem to be solid, and incredibly adorable. By all appearances, Haines is more than just 50 Cent's girlfriend.

As of mid 2020, the aspiring lawyer is studying at Rutgers University, according to Distractify. And she's also building her fitness brand, Cuban Fit, hawking performance gear and workout programs. Over on her brand's Instagram, Haines boasts more than 120,000 followers, while her personal profile has topped 800,000.

On her fitness account, Haines posts videos of herself putting in some serious work in order to get killer results. With that much ambition, and the looks to back it up, it's no wonder she caught 50's eye. When the two made their first public appearance in 2019, Distractify reported that the rapper seemingly confirmed the relationship when he commented on a photo he appeared in on her Instagram, writing:

"Yes, the f--- it is me."

But while the pair's photos are all smiles and laughs, the two were also having tough relationship conversations. In the May 2020 issue of People, 50 said,

"For 30 days, I [told her], 'Send me a picture of something you want.' Then after the 30 days, I did the same. At the end of it, we put the two vision boards together and talked about the things that don't match up. It sparked conversations that we probably wouldn't have gotten to randomly, and it was easier for us to express it because it's so early."

But rumors began spreading in June 2020 that the two might have broken up after Haines deleted pics with 50 off her Instagram account and posted a photo that suggested she might have been back at her apartment after quarantining at his mansion.

While nothing has been confirmed, Haines did plan 50's birthday party in July 2020. So if they did split up, it doesn't seem to have lasted.

Whatever went down, Haines has proven she's all about standing by her man, no matter what. In July 2020, 50 appeared on Lil Wayne's Beats 1 radio program, Young Money Radio, where he spoke about being attracted to women with lighter shades of brown skin, calling them, quote, "exotic," and how black women attack him for that. Needless to say, Black women of all shades criticized 50's remarks and used them to discuss the damaging assumptions of colorism in communities of color. Following the since-deleted interview, Lil Wayne's daughter, Reginae Carter, tweeted,

"I'm black! I'm beautiful! I'm enough! I'm exotic! I'm amazing! I'm one of a MF kind!!!! Now where my black beautiful Queens at?"

Haines, who is Puerto Rican and Black posted a now-deleted pic of her man on Instagram with the caption:

"Don't worry ladies, I already knocked him upside his big a-- head…Happy Birthday My Love." Watch the video to learn The Untold Truth Of 50 Cent's Girlfriend!
