Zahara Jolie-Pitt Is 15 And Doesn't Look Like This Anymore

During Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's 12-year relationship, the couple captured fans' hearts. Many didn't think they could love the duo any more, but they were proven wrong when the actors adopted three children. Not only did the former couple draw awareness to adoption, but they also highlighted the beauty of blended families. In addition to Zahara, Brad and Angelina are parents to Maddox, John, Pax, and twins Vivienne and Knox.
Angelina, who divorced Brad in 2016, adopted Ethiopia-born Zahara in 2005 at 6 months old, following the adoption of her eldest child, Maddox. Even though the teen is the child of two internationally known movie stars, Zahara appears to be paving a way for herself in multiple industries all on her own.
Zahara Jolie-Pitt snagged her first big role when in 2016 she voiced a panda named Meng Meng in Kung Fu Panda 3. To make matters even cooler, her famous mom was also in the film, voicing Master Tigress.
After testing the waters with one trade, Zahara tried her hand at another, very different skill: jewelry making. At the 2019 premiere of Maleficent: Mistress of Evil, Zahara quietly debuted a few pieces from her collection, and as W Magazine noted, Angelina could be seen wearing a 50-carat diamond scorpion brooch that was designed by the celeb kid in collaboration with the jeweler, Robert Procop. Zahara also wore a set of earrings, bracelet, and a ring from her line, the aptly named Zahara Collection, at the movie's premiere.
In true Brangelina fashion, proceeds from the line were donated to charity, benefitting House of Ruth Shelters, a transitional housing center for battered women and children in Los Angeles, according to People.
Similar to her siblings and parents, Zahara Jolie-Pitt isn't on social media for a very understandable reason. During an interview with BBC's Today radio show, Angelina explained,
"We talk about social media, and here's the truth. My children have seen things about themselves even from what's considered serious news people that are inaccurate. [...] So my children have a very odd sense of who's telling the truth and what is the truth and what they actually believe or trust."
Angelina seems to be aware that her children's lack of social media accounts might be considered strange, as she joked,
"We're the last family that hasn't gone on Facebook."
In addition to staying off of social media and utilizing her talents, Zahara is also taking care of her health. Angelina spoke about this issue in a March 2020 essay for TIME. The Maleficent star revealed that two of her daughters, including Zahara, underwent surgery in early 2020, and explained,
"They know that I am writing this, because I respect their privacy and we discussed it together and they encouraged me to write. They understand that going through medical challenges and fighting to survive and heal is something to be proud of."
And according to Jolie, all of her children, including Zahara, support one another through the difficult times. As the actress revealed in TIME,
"I have watched my daughters care for one another. My youngest daughter studied the nurses with her sister, and then assisted the next time. I saw how all my girls so easily stopped everything and put each other first, and felt the joy of being of service to those they love."

Zahara Jolie-Pitt's early years were challenging, and her strength in overcoming life's battles inspired her parents to give back to her native land. As a result, the Zahara Program was founded in 2009 by the Jolie-Pitt Foundation to help treat drug-resistant tuberculosis in Ethiopia.
The Jolie-Pitt Foundation also created the Zahara Children's Center outside of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, which was partially designed by Brad Pitt, and provides further focus and research into the country's tuberculosis issues.
To stay even closer to her origins, the Jolie-Pitts have taken Zahara to Ethiopia on multiple occasions. During a visit in December 2019, Zahara, John, and Angelina Jolie met the nation's first female president, Sahle-Work Zewde. According to People,
"Their talks covered education, sanitary pad solutions to help girls continue their schooling [...] and Ethiopian culture and history. The group also discussed Jolie’s ongoing efforts to treat drug-resistant tuberculosis."
