HRH The Prince of Wales Talks Sustainable Fashion & His Timeless Style | British Vogue
Nov 04 2020
Sustainability has come to dominate conversation in the fashion industry in recent years, but it has been at the top of HRH the Prince of Wales’s personal agenda for decades. In conversation with British Vogue’s editor-in-chief Edward Enninful, Prince Charles discusses his “buy once, buy well” mantra, his personal style – “I mind about detail and colour and things like that” – and The Modern Artisan, a new craft-focused training programme co-founded by The Prince’s Foundation. “It seems to me there are huge opportunities, particularly now, within the whole sustainable fashion sector, to counter this extraordinary trend of throwaway clothing,” says the royal. “Or throwaway everything, frankly.” Watch the video to hear his conversation with Edward Enninful in full.
