Joe Exotic, arguably the Netflix breakout star of 2020, is fired up — and this time his anger is not directed at his arch-nemesis and fellow exotic cat lover Carole Baskin, but rather former President of the United States Donald Trump.

As reported by Yahoo! News, it appears the Tiger King star was upset after not receiving a pardon as one of Trump's final acts as president. Reportedly, Joe was so sure of his pardon that he even instructed a limousine to be waiting for him not too far away from Federal Medical Center in Fort Worth, Texas, his current home away from home. It's alleged that he also had plans to be immediately taken for both a medical exam and some rest and relaxation upon his release. Unfortunately, the pardon never came, and Joe is still serving out his sentence on animal cruelty and murder-for-hire charges in the Texas penitentiary.

Joe Exotic minced no words after being snubbed by Donald Trump. The Netflix star took to Twitter to express his displeasure. Joe fired off in the now-viral tweet,

"I was too innocent and too GAY to deserve a Pardon from Trump. I only mattered to Don Jr. when he needed to make a comment about me to boost his social media post. Boy were we all stupid to believe he actually stood for Equal Justice? His corrupt friends all come first."

It appears Joe had a much different opinion about Trump prior to the snub. It's reported that in his 257-page pardon application the former zoo operator claimed that Trump was perhaps the only person he had ever looked up to, according to CBS News, he penned,

"Not because I need you to save my life but because you stand for what you beleive [sic] no matter what anyone thinks."

Joe's bitter tweet comes on the heels of Trump making some last-minute pardons for the likes of other prominent and popular figures, including rapper Lil Wayne. Luckily, Joe Exotic will have a lot of time to process the perceived betrayal, as he has a 22-year prison sentence.

Is there anything more spot-on than the fact that Joe Exotic had a limo waiting for him outside of the prison in Fort Worth, Texas? The particular limo that arrived, waited, and eventually left without its special cargo was a 2019 Dodge Ram "super-stretch turbo diesel" limo, according to The Washington Post. First the limo stopped at the law office where Joe's team of lawyers piled in, expectant and excited.

But that's not all. Eric Love, a legal advocate for Joe, told ABC's KOCO 5 that they had with them a glam squad. Love explained,

"Joe's biggest thing is he can't wait to get out, as you can imagine, and he doesn't want anyone to see him until his hair is done. [...] So, the most important person tomorrow is the hair and makeup and wardrobe."

Sounds about right.

Love said in a statement, per The Washington Post,

"140 million Joe Exotic fans had a hard time getting out of bed this morning. We are disappointed that The President did not sign Joe's Pardon, as we were confident yesterday that he would."

So as things stand, Joe's release date will not come until 2037.
