In 2019, the world generated 53.6 million tons of electronic waste. Ivory Coast artist Mounou Désiré Koffi is working to raise awareness of this weighty problem. He takes a hammer to old cell phones and electronic waste, using keyboards and screens to create scenes from local life -- transforming former garbage into stunning works of art.
