Aug 03 2021
Matt Damon is speaking out. The actor recently came under fire for a new interview with UK's Sunday Times posted over the weekend where he allegedly shared about retiring a homophobic slur after his daughter shared her thoughts on it. Now, the actor has issued a statement to NBC News where he says he never used the slur personally and that he stands with the LGBTQ+ community, clarifying what he meant in the interview.
