'Minions: The Rise of Gru' is the 5th installment of, and a prequel to, Illumination's insanely popular animated 'Despicable Me' franchise, and while we may have grown up with these movies and stories, we certainly have not grown out of them! Young Hollywood catches up with the criminal mastermind Gru himself, Steve Carell, over Zoom to chat about his return to the franchise as a younger version of his now-iconic character, including how he found young Gru's voice and, more importantly, his laugh! Plus he tells us why he never does the Gru voice and home and whether or not his kids (who were just children when the first movie came out and are adults now) are still into it, plus he reveals why younger viewers can relate to about this version of Gru and the one thing he always does before a big, busy day!
