JEMA, 39, and Ellie, 20, from Kent, UK are a mother and daughter duo who have recently hit the headlines after their joint OnlyFans platform has outraged members of the public and made them targets for online trolls. Jema, who has been a glamour model all of her adult working life, became one of the first ever women to make a profile on the subscription site and, not long after, her daughter Ellie decided to follow in her mum's footsteps. Jema told Truly: "I was quite surprised when Ellie joined my industry, because she grew up wanting to work in an office and had no interest in this line of work." After some initial success, Ellie then developed big ideas and became the driving force of them making a joint account to upload content together. Despite their love for what they do and their ever growing success, they have received some vicious online hate and have had to defend their platform at every turn. They said: "Some of the worst stuff that I have heard or seen is; how we can be 'trashy' and 'how can you do that with your mum?' It might be out of the norm but we're not a typical mother and daughter." The comments continued to get worse and Jema even received a death threat; but despite everything they see and hear from the haters, the pair love what they do and won't stop for anybody. They added: "If people think this is an inappropriate job for mother and daughter to do, they've got the right to their opinion... But do we care about your opinion?... NO!"
