Shakira has broken her silence about splitting up with Gerard Piqué after 12 years together. In a new interview with Elle, the 45-year-old "Hips Don't Lie" singer opened up about how difficult it is to talk about the breakup, saying, "It's hard to talk about it, especially because I'm still going through it, and because I'm in the public eye and because our separation is not like a regular separation." Shakira shared with the outlet that the breakup has been particularly hard for their two sons.
