Alex Cooper Explains Why She Had A ‘Panic Attack’ After Signing $60M Deal With Spotify (Exclusive)
Sep 29 2022
Alex Cooper signed a $60 million deal with Spotify in 2021, making it the streaming service’s biggest exclusive deal for a women-led podcast to date. Now, the 28-year-old is exclusively telling Access Hollywood’s Kit Hoover why that deal caused her stress. “I had a panic attack essentially, because I felt pressure within my myself,” she said. “I'm so competitive with myself. The minute that number got out and all the success I just knew how do I elevate? How do I prove myself? How do I prove that I deserve to be in this space.” While taking to Kit, the podcast host also explained why she encourages her guests to open up and how she deals with critics.
