Cross the Bering Strait in the Newly Rebooted Baja Boot
Mar 15 2018
No, seriously. They’re going to cross the Bering Strait in it.
The Baja Boot is getting rebooted by the folks at Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus as an amphibious, all-terrain adventure machine. Only two Baja Boots were made in 1967, and they were purpose-built, GM-powered desert racers. The following year, they were both bought by Steve McQueen. It wasn’t until 2010 when SCG bought one that the revitalization process began. They're now planning on using one of these bad boys to drive from New York to Paris, crossing the Bering Strait.
