Johnny Depp and Penélope Cruz were recently seen at the Museo Reina Sofía in Madrid, where they took a moment to pose in front of a striking black-and-white mural.

In a joint Instagram post, the museum shared two photos featuring the actors, both dressed in casual yet elegant attire. The caption expressed gratitude: "Thanks for joining us @johnnydepp and @penelopecruzoficial, until next time! ❤️."

Orlando Bloom, their co-star from the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' franchise, showed his support by commenting with two red heart emojis.

This outing comes as Depp and Cruz prepare for their upcoming film, 'Day Drinker,' directed by Marc Webb. This project marks their fourth collaboration following 'Blow' (2001), 'Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides' (2011), and 'Murder on the Orient Express' (2017).

The first image of Depp in character was released in April, showcasing him with a drink in hand, gazing off-camera. In 'Day Drinker,' Depp portrays a mysterious guest aboard a private yacht who encounters a bartender, played by Madelyn Cline. Their fates intertwine with a criminal figure, portrayed by Cruz, leading to unexpected connections.

The film's ensemble cast also features Manu Ríos, Arón Piper, Juan Diego Botto, and Anika Boyle. Notably, this film signifies Depp's return to Hollywood after his role in 'Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald' (2018).

Since concluding his highly publicized defamation trial with ex-wife Amber Heard, who resides in Madrid, Depp has appeared in the French film 'Jeanne du Barry,' which opened the 2023 Cannes Film Festival. He also directed 'Modi: Three Days on the Wing of Madness.'

Last September, Cruz shared a selfie with Depp at the San Sebastian Film Festival, where he premiered 'Modi,' featuring Al Pacino. The Oscar-winning actress has previously supported Depp in court, stating she had never witnessed any violent behavior from him.

“Many years have passed and I have not only made three movies with him, but I also count on him as a great friend,” Cruz noted in her declarations. “I’ve always been impressed by his kindness, his brilliant mind, his talent and his peculiar sense of humor.”
