Special Education Teacher Charged After Being Spotted ‘Making Out’ with Student in Taco Bell Parking Lot
A special education teacher from Mississippi has being charged with fondling an underage student. This all went down when she was spotted “making out” with the student in a Taco Bell parking lot, according to police reports.
Natalia Elizabeth Wright, who’s 31, resigned from her position at Lewisburg High School in DeSoto County on April 3. This resignation came after allegations of “inappropriate contact” with the student surfaced. But, like, things took a wild turn when she was seen kissing the same student not just once, but twice—first at Taco Bell and then again outside a Baptist church on the same day, as detailed in an arrest affidavit obtained by Fox 13 Memphis.

Wright was arrested last Tuesday after her husband recorded her admitting to kissing the student multiple times while tutoring him at their home. That’s when the situation escalated, leading to her being charged with fondling by a person in a position of trust, which is a felony in Mississippi.
The affidavit states, “Natalia Wright did willfully, unlawfully and feloniously … handle or touch with her mouth … a child under 18 years of age.” This has left the local community in shock, especially since she was seen in public after resigning over the initial accusations.

One local resident, Shirley Hendrix, expressed her disbelief, saying, “You knew you were going to get caught sooner or later. So why would you jeopardize your job?”
Wright was released on a $200,000 bond last week, according to jail records. She’s set to appear in court on June 6. Meanwhile, DeSoto County Schools have yet to make a public statement regarding the case, and it’s unclear how this will impact the school community moving forward.
