On Tuesday (Sept. 24), the Latin Recording Academy unveiled its nominees for the 20th annual Latin Grammy Awards, taking place on Nov. 14 at Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena. Spanish artist Alejandro Sanz is this year’s top nominee with eight mentions, followed by compatriot Rosalia with five nods. Bad Bunny, Ozuna, Daddy Yankee, Sech and De La Ghetto are a few of the urban artists who received nominations, and now artists are calling out the lack of urban music in the main categories.
